This project started with significant structural issues. Years of weather exposure and settling earth had taken a toll on the retaining wall, and there was no usable garage or welcoming front entryway. The slope was bare, unstable, and difficult to navigate.

Excavation & Demolition: Preparing the Ground for Greatness
Urban Shore Builders began by fully removing the deteriorating wall and excavating the hillside to stabilize the foundation. With large-scale equipment and careful engineering, we cleared out decades of accumulated wear.

Once the slope was stabilized, the team poured new foundations and began rebuilding the retaining wall with natural stacked stone. This not only added structural strength but created an elegant facade for the garage and entryway.
We custom-built the garage and entry doors using warm-toned wood, echoing a classic craftsman style that blended beautifully with the existing home.
